Go-bag for Saturday magazine

“Your life is under threat. You might have to run any second. What do you take?” The Guardian’s Saturday magazine looks at what people around the world pack in their emergency bag. I made a trip up to Colfax, CA to photograph firefighter Glen Haydon, his wife Hannah Stone, and baby daughter Rose for some portraits and to show the contents of their go-bag. They live in wildfire territory and have had some close calls. But they’re well prepared and it’s a good reminder for all of us to do the same.
