Character.ai for Washington Post
Noam Shazeer (left) & Daniel De Freitas are the founders of AI startup Character.ai. Their artifical intelligence chatbot is open to the public and lets user have a conversation with impersonations of Albert Einstein, Keanu Reeves and others. “Character.ai’s willingness to let users experiment with the latest in language AI is a departure from Big Tech — and that’s by design. The start-up’s two founders helped create Google’s artificial intelligence project LaMDA, which Google keeps closely guarded while it develops safeguards against social risks.” – Story by Nitasha Tiku for the Washington Post.
